Where Premium Brands Come To Grow
I admire people who take the plunge to turn their creativity into a business. To back themselves and start making their products for others to buy, not just for themselves.
Today on the podcast I’m joined by Jodi, owner of Swik Home Body.
First, she was making candles for herself. And when her family and friends saw them, they loved them and wanted to buy them.
So Jodi grabbed that opportunity and ran with it! First starting out at markets, then graduating to pop-up Shops within major shopping centres.
Despite the shops being incredibly lucrative, they were HARD WORK! Physically, the time and effort involved in setting up and running these shops began to take their toll, so Jodi wanted to find a way to scale her business up using an eCommerce model.
She’s grown from a small-time brand into one that is incredibly lucrative, both online and in-store.
