Where Premium Brands Come To Grow
West-Australian-based brand, Wrap’d, set out to make kids lunches easier, healthier, and greener. And on top of helping thousands of kids enjoy eating healthy food, they’ve also enjoyed rapid year-on-year growth.
Read the article to discover the core strategies that formed the basis of the growth strategy.
And, find out how you can replicate this in your own business!
Three years into her 18-year career of making school lunches, Jade was already struggling to offer her three sons variety and healthy lunch choices that wouldn’t leave them resenting the humble sandwich for the rest of their lives!
The inspiration for Wrap’d struck as she watched her kids (then aged 3, 5, and 7) struggle with their flatbread wraps. Bits of lettuce and carrot fell out with each bite, and the wrap was determined to unravel in their little hands.
After extensive research and product development, she finally developed Wrap’d, a reusable solution to hold lunch wraps and other tasty morsels. Simple and easy for even small hands to use, it peels like a banana to reveal the food within.
But… How to market such a unique new invention? When potential customers don’t even know what it is, let alone if they need one?
With no prior experience scaling an online business, particularly one designed to sell a unique invention, Jade soon realised she would have a steep learning curve ahead of her.
Inventing something new requires building awareness and educating the market about what the product is, how it works, and why they’ll love it. Building this demand first was essential.
Then, learning the growth strategies and mastering the technical platforms to make sure revenues grew consistently and profitably.
After a few years of trial and error and a few small successes, Jade knew she would need some expert help if she was to make a success of her brand.
Less than 12 months after joining our Ecommerce Mastery program, Jade broke all her previous sales records, enjoying 329% growth AND developed the skills and confidence she needed to continue to grow!
Here were the 3 key strategies we implemented to grow their year-on-year revenue:
1. Get More Traffic (Without Over-Paying!)
There are three different kinds of traffic and every successful eCommerce brand needs all three: owned, earned and paid.
Wrap’d now has two paid traffic channels that convert profitably (Meta and Google Ads), driving consistent and predictable amounts of traffic to the website and converting at a profitable rate.
Their website is now well optimised for SEO and earns around 15% of revenue from organic search (the free stuff!). An excellent result for a new product category!
And, as a result of consistent and ongoing email list-building and email marketing efforts, they generate over 35% of revenue from the database they own (also basically free traffic!)
2. Increase Sales Conversions & First-Order Value
Scaling an eCommerce business can be a massive drain on cash flow, so it’s critical to maximise the website conversion rate and average order value from new customers.
Doing so improves the return on ad spend (ROAS) from paid traffic – essential for a brand that sells only one product – and it also generates new revenue fast enough to keep growing quickly.
With regular tweaks and optimisations to the website to improve the conversion rate, and the introduction of bundles and complimentary products, Wrap’d has been able to make more money, faster!
3. Maximise Profitability By Mastering Metrics
Before joining the Ecommerce Mastery coaching program, Jade felt like she was flying blind in her business. When sales came in, she had no real clarity on what was driving them—or how profitable they actually were. Without this visibility, every decision felt like a gamble and she had no way to imagine the future growth potential of the business!
Through the program, she learned how to properly track and interpret her numbers—not just for the sake of reporting, but to use them as strategic tools to drive growth. By shifting her focus from guesswork to profit-driving metrics, she was able to identify her most powerful levers and confidently make decisions that led to real, scalable results. Once she understood exactly how her inputs impacted her outcomes, she was no longer guessing—she was in control, and that’s when her business truly took off.
The single biggest leverage points in this multi-channel campaign success were:
1. Increasing the revenue from ‘Owned’ data
Revenue generated from their Klaviyo database increased over 350%! And, even better, nearly 90% of that revenue is generated on autopilot. The ROI on this revenue is huge – 3800%. This single datapoint resulted in a massive increase in profitability for this brand.
2. Increasing the revenue from paid Meta ads by over 350%!
Previously, Wrap’d had never run proper advertising (on any platform), and had only boosted random posts on Instagram over the years. This never generated great results, with only haphazard spikes in sales and a very low return on ad spend.
Implementing a proper Meta ad strategy helped to educate her audience about this new type of product, generate massive consumer demand, and rapidly grew her revenue.
Even better, the return on ad spend (ROAS) became consistently profitable, enabling her to continue scaling!
3. Generating new revenue from from Google Ads at a profitable ROAS of over 5!
Adding an entirely new channel to the mix resulted in an additional income stream. Wrap’d’s Google ads produced 12% of overall revenue whilst maintaining a high return on ad spend (ROAS) of over 5x, contributing significantly to the volume and speed of revenue growth year on year.
4. Optimising the checkout experience
One of the most remarkable shifts for Wrap’d came when we turned our attention to optimising the entire checkout experience. Streamlining the user journey—from product page to purchase—resulting in a 300%+ increase across key conversion metrics like add-to-cart, initiate checkout, and completed purchases.
What made this even more impressive was that these gains happened while significantly increasing traffic to the website, bucking the common trend where higher volumes of paid traffic usually lead to lower conversion rates and shrinking profit margins.
As Jade says, it can be overwhelming running a small business, but with the right kind of support — a combination of expertise and kind encouragement — incredible results come about.
We can’t wait to see what our next client achieves!

"Before working with Productpreneur Marketing, I had never done proper advertising, I was simply boosting random posts on Facebook and Instagram without a clear understanding of what I was doing. I knew I wanted to grow my business, Wrap’d, but I didn’t have the tools, knowledge, or direction to make that happen in a strategic way.
From the moment I joined the program, Cath and her amazing team completely changed the game for me. They taught me how to advertise properly, explained the ‘why’ behind the strategies, and helped me understand the huge potential my business had. During the busiest season for Wrap’d, I implemented their advice and strategy, and the results were incredible. I saw growth and sales that far exceeded anything I’d
experienced before. It was empowering to see that kind of success and know it came from a well-executed plan.
Another area they opened my eyes to was email marketing. It was something I’d always overlooked, thinking it wasn’t relevant or too hard to manage. But Productpreneur Marketing showed me just how powerful it can be. Even though I’m still learning and only just starting to tap into it, every email I send now brings in real engagement and sales. It's been one of the most valuable tools I’ve added to my business.
What truly stands out about Productpreneur Marketing is the way they support you. Not just as a business owner, but as a person. I came into the program with almost no experience in scaling an online business, and at times I felt overwhelmed. But Cath has built a team that is not only incredibly knowledgeable, but also genuinely kind and encouraging. Each part of the process is led by a dedicated expert who brings so much value and insight, and they’re always happy to answer questions and guide you through each step. The emails and zoom calls are personalised, and you just know they are looking at YOUR business when they communicate with you.
Thanks to Cath and her team, I now feel confident in growing Wrap’d with real strategies that work. The support, education, and results I’ve received through Productpreneur Marketing have far exceeded my expectations. The combination of one-on-one mentorship, in‐depth reporting, and an engaged community has confirmed that this program is one of the best investments I’ve made in my business. Thanks so much, Productpreneur Marketing!"
